You know that feeling when you’re in the middle of a project and can’t figure out what to do next? It feels like the walls are closing in on you, right? Well, this is exactly how it felt for me this past week. I was supposed to be designing a poster for my university’s sustainability club but couldn’t come up with anything good. That’s when I remembered my favorite quote from Eleanor Roosevelt: “Bloom where you are planted.” And so that’s what I did. I took a walk around campus, observing all the flowers and plants that were there. I looked at them from different angles, examining what kind of colors they had, their shapes–anything! And then it hit me: The club could incorporate some illustrations with these blooms to create an artistic poster. It was perfect! Like this blog post?
