Rock music has had its share of stars over the last few decades. Most people know about Michael Jackson, Madonna and Elvis Presley but what happened to rock stars from the 80s? – BOBBY BLOW: Bobby Blow is an American musician, songwriter producer. He played drums for the band The Blackhearts but has also been known to play guitar and bass. In 2013 he released his first solo album, ‘Naked Under Leather’. – SCARLETT JOHANSSON: Scarlette Johansson is a Canadian singer/songwriter from Vancouver who often performs as DJ Scarlett Johannson at clubs in Los Angeles or New York City. She had some success with her single “Boys” which peaked at number 18 on the Billboard dance charts.. – CHEAP TRICK: Cheap Trick are an American rock band formed in 1973 that achieved international commercial success throughout the late 1970s . – JOHN DENVER: John Denver, who passed away in 1997, was an American folk singer and songwriter. He released more than a dozen studio albums beginning with ‘Rhymes & Reasons’ in 1969 up until his death and starred on many of the big TV specials of the 1960s through 1990s. – GEORGE MICHAEL: George Michael is another one that we all lost during this decade. His career as a solo artist began when he left The Commodores to go out on his own but it wasn’t until 1987’s Faith album that people noticed him as a full fledged star!
