If you’re like me, you grew up in the 80s and 90s listening to Bon Jovi. You can probably still sing every word to “Livin’ on a Prayer” or “You Give Love a Bad Name.” Well guess what? Now that I’m all grown up, I find myself singing these songs as much as ever! But what about those of us who didn’t grow up with this music? Do we have any hope of joining in on the fun without looking like we just got off work at Radio Shack? Fear not, my friends. This blog post is here for you. Below are five tips to help you rock out with Bon Jovi and sound like your own cool self! * Tip One: Know the lyrics to at least one Bon Jovi song. I know it’s a lot of pressure, but this is an important step in sounding like you belong with everyone else. If nothing else, try “Living on a Prayer.” It’s such a great song and easy enough to learn! * Tip Two: Don’t be afraid to get down and dance around how you feel – even if that means jumping out of your seat or shaking what your mama gave ya’. This will make for good energy onstage when there isn’t much going on and can help bring some life into the show. Hint: Every once in awhile someone might join in too! When they do, just go along with them
