I actually was a little worried that this book would have a lot of details that were too technical, but it doesn’t. There are lots of tips on how to deal with people, what tools to use, how to write your own ticketing system, how to use e-mail, how to make phone calls, how to get paid, etc. The book is really a how to guide people who have never done this kind of work before.
I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that so clearly explains how to do work management on the job, and I’m really glad this one got published. I think it’s a must read for anyone who wants to work in information technology.
