We all know that you should always ask yourself, “What are the alternatives to this?” If you can’t think of alternatives, then you should know that you’re not thinking the best way to do something.

They take a random set of options and just do them because they feel like it. He saw that most people rarely think about how they are going to do something, but rather they do what they think they should because they feel like it.
This is the same phenomenon that applies to many aspects of our lives. Our greatest success, or our greatest happiness, or our greatest sense of accomplishment, is always tied to what we believe we should be doing. If this is not the case, we will never succeed in our goals. But if we do not feel like we should be doing something, then we will probably fail at it.

This is also really helpful in the case of someone who is in a jam with their career: they may feel they should be a writer, but they are really a photographer. This is a common belief among tech consultants (and this is not a bad thing, just not what we’re talking about here). The idea is that the latest and greatest tech is not going to get you any new opportunities, because the market is not going to catch up to it. You would have to move to a new area to find a new opportunity. You would have to make a lot of sacrifices to move to a new area if you wanted to make a lot of money.
We have been talking about this lately because there are a number of tech firms that are focused on this same type of strategy. In fact, this seems to be what is happening with Intel’s new strategy for the company. The company is shifting course and is positioning itself as a supplier of software and services that help clients to implement the latest and greatest technology at their sites.
